Westminster? That’s so last week. Felines and their fanciers get their own red-carpet moment in Brighton this weekend as the Wild Blue Yonder Cat Show takes over the Adams County Fairgrounds exhibition hall. Several hundred cats, representing as many as 40 breeds, will compete.

Conformation competitionswork much as they do in dogs. Spectators can visit cat-product vendors and speak with exhibitors about their entered felines.

A rafflewill benefit the which is featuring free dental exams for cats this month.

The show: 8:30 a.m. -4:30 p.m. today and Sunday; $5 adults, $3 for seniors and children 6-17; free to children under 6 and $15 for a family of three or more
