COLORADO SPRINGS — Police are investigating an early morning shooting death.
Police said the victim was dropped off at Penrose Hospital about 5:30 a.m. by a friend, who told police that they had been involved in a disturbance near the Sin City Disciples motorcycle club clubhouse, 628 W. Vermijo.
The witness told police that “several shots were fired at the vehicle” as they were driving away, hitting the victim, who was in the passenger seat, police said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital about 10 minutes after their arrival.
Police did not release the name of the victim.
