A car ran a red light and hit a bus at Federal Boulevard and West 32nd Avenue this afternoon, according to the Regional Transportation District.
There were no passengers aboard the bus at the time, but the bus driver and the driver of the car that hit the bus were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, said RTD spokesman Scott Reed.
The crash, adjacent to Highland Park, happened about 3 p.m. The bus driver worked for an RTD contractor, Reed said.
