DENVER—Police say a 19-year-old man has been killed in a drive-by shooting in Denver, prompting lockdowns at eight schools.
Authorities say the victim was shot just before 3 p.m. on Monday and was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
His name hasn’t been released.
No one had been arrested by Monday night. Police say witnesses gave conflicting descriptions of the car or cars involved.
The school lockdowns were lifted by about 3:30 p.m.
