A man in a suit robbed a Subway sandwich shop tonight in Sheridan. He reached inside his coat to indicate he had a gun, then stole the restaurant worker’s car, police said.
The robbery happened just before 8:30 p.m. at the shop near the Riverpoint at Sheridan shopping center at 3602 Riverpoint Parkway.
As the man took the cash from the register, he demanded the shop worker’s keys and then left in the stolen vehicle, a black 2000 Volkswagen Golf with a temporary tag.
The man was described as white, in his mid-20s and clean-cut.
