Touring behind one of last year’s strongest records, R&B star will take on the biggest venues of his headlining career this summer.
The record: 2011’s “Take Care,” which was as brawny as it was tender — with strong production all the way through. The tour: The Club Paradise Tour. The support: J. Cole. And yes, there is a Colorado date.
Drake will bring his traveling show to on May 13. Tickets, $29.75-$150.75, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday via livenation.com.
“I feel like this tour is coming at the perfect time,” Drake said in a release. “It’s taking place in the season that we all wait for. We’re outdoors and you’ve got every single artist you wait to hear in the club on one bill … that’s Club Paradise.”
Supporting Drake and J. Cole are Waka Flocka Flame, Meek Mill, 2 Chainz and French Montana.
