DENVER—A 19-year-old Kansas man is dead after hitting a tree at the Wolf Creek Ski Area in southwestern Colorado.
Resort owner Davey Pitcher tells The Denver Post ( ) the man, whose name has not been released, was skiing without a helmet on a green run Saturday when he hit the tree. The teen was pronounced dead at the scene.
