The No. 11 University of Colorado women’s golf team shot a three-round 25-over-par 889, edging No. 15 California by two strokes to win the Anuenue Spring Break Challenge in Maui, Hawaii, on Tuesday.

It was the first time in program history the Buffs won back-to-back events.

Jenny Coleman led Colorado with a 4-over 220, placing third individually.

Denver’s Marshall to transfer from Wyoming. Wyoming coach Larry Shyatt said freshman forward and Denver native Tyrone Marshall has been given a full release and plans to transfer at the end of the spring semester. Shyatt said in a statement that Marshall decided it is in his best interest to transfer.

Marshall played in nine games for the Cowboys during the 2011-12 season. He averaged 0.8 points and 0.8 rebounds in four minutes of action per game.
