COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—The Air Force Academy says a cadet will face a court-martial in April over allegations he sexually assaulted a woman in the academy’s dorms.
Academy spokesman Lt. Col. John Bryan tells The Gazette ( ) Stephan H. Claxton will appear April 17 for the court-martial at the academy.
Claxton was among three cadets charged this year in separate sex assault cases. Charges were dropped against Kyle Cressy. Commanders have yet to decide whether to send Robert Evenson to a court-martial.
A woman testified at a hearing in January that Claxton allegedly crept beside her while she slept in March 2011 and placed her hand on his genitals. Prosecutors allege he also unzipped the pants of a woman who was passed out after a night of drinking in November.
