Miller’s guitar tone is singular in its ’80s metal nostalgia and bridges the gap between pop hooks and sensory deprivation. The duo’s 2012 album, “Reign of Terror,” is a smart follow-up to 2010’s “Treats,” with songs like “Comeback Kid” cresting 500,000 views on YouTube.
