The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce presented several awards today during a lunch banquet at the Hyatt Regency Denver Convention Center.
Bill Lindsay, president of the Denver benefits group for Lockton Cos., received the David E. Bailey Small Business Advocate Award.
Denver technology consulting firm Platte River Networks was recognized as the Small Business of the Year, while another technology consulting firm, NIMBL, was named the Emerging Business of the Year.
Petroleum pipeline and facility services provider Campos EPC was recognized as the Minority-owned Business of the Year.
“I’d like to thank our 41 employees who work tirelessly to put it all on the line and ensure the integrity of pipelines across the country,” said Marco Campos, managing principal.
Environmental Learning for Kids won an award for the Small Nonprofit Organization of the Year, while Project Angel Heart, which provides meals to the ill, was named as the Large Nonprofit Organization of the Year.
The Green Business of the Year award went to EnviroTech Services, Inc., a provider of road de-icing and erosion control services.
