An education isn’t just a means to an end. It’s the means to a full, rich life that opens endless possibilities.
Located at 14241 East Fourth Ave., Building 5 in Aurora, Columbia College-Aurora enables busy adults in the metro area to earn college degrees at their own pace.

Columbia College-Aurora received the 2008 Best of Aurora award in the colleges and universities category from the U.S. Local Business Association.

“We are here to make education affordable, convenient and flexible for adult learners in the Denver area,” said director Andye Wolff-Yakubovich. “We’re proud to be part of the community.”

Originally founded in Denver in 1975, the campus served active-duty military personnel and retired military and corporate students during its early years. The campus moved to Aurora in 1979 after enrollments outpaced available space.

Today, Columbia College-Aurora is part of Columbia College’s network of more than 30 campuses around the country and continues to serve civilian and military learners in the area with five associate, six bachelor’s and an MBA degree on campus as well as more than 22 online degrees.
Columbia College is a private, four-year liberal arts and sciences institution founded in 1851. The main campus is located in Columbia, Mo. About 1,200 students attend classes during the day.

Teaching is the top priority at Columbia College, with a student-teacher ratio of just 14 to 1 and classes with never more than 35 students. At Columbia College, classes are never taught by graduate teaching assistants and students get to know the names of all their classmates and professors.

Columbia College also keeps tuition costs low and gives out millions of dollars in scholarships, grants, loans and student employment.
