Fire crews fought a blaze involving four buildings at a egg farm northeast of Keenesburg this afternoon.
The Greeley Tribune reported that an unknown number of chickens were killed, but no people were injured in the fire at the Moark Hatcheries egg farm.
Southeast Weld Fire Protection District put out the blaze at 9579 Weld County Road 73, near Weld County Road 16 in the Roggen community.
Weld County property records indicate the farm has a mobile home manufactured in 1987 valued at $13,558 as well as three warehouses valued at $3.8 million.
Property records state the farm is owned by Moark Productions Inc. of Carthage, Mo.
