BOULDER, Colo.—A Boulder police officer who suffered a concussion after he was assaulted by a suspect in August has been arrested on suspicion of stalking and harassment.

The Daily Camera reports ( ) 32-year-old Dale McCracken of Frederick retrieved two of his guns from work while on medical leave last week. A police report says that afterward, McCracken told his roommate he was going to kill his ex-girlfriend and shoot one of her friends before killing himself. The former girlfriend and her friend are both police dispatchers.

Broomfield police arrested McCracken over the weekend.

McCracken has not been on active duty as a police officer since his concussion.

McCracken is in custody on $100,000 bond.
