AURORA, Colo.—Aurora police say one man has died after a stabbing on a public transit bus.
Police say two men were fighting Thursday afternoon in the back of a Regional Transportation District bus, whose driver pulled over when he realized what was happening. At one point, a third man stabbed both men with a knife. The first two men pushed the third man against the windshield, causing it to break.
The men who were stabbed then left the bus. One later died at a hospital. Police say the other man is believed to have injuries that aren’t life-threatening.
Police are questioning the man believed to be responsible for the stabbing.
Investigators say it’s too early to say if the men knew each other or why they were fighting.
