GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo.—One of three men arrested as part of an anti-gang enforcement operation during Strawberry Days in Glenwood Springs last year has been sentenced to a year in federal prison for repeated immigration violations.

David Centeno is scheduled to be deported after serving the sentence.

According to the Glenwood Springs Post Independent (), Centeno was arrested last year after he was recognized by authorities as a gang member.

Civil rights groups said the raids were designed to intimidate immigrants. Federal authorities denied the allegations.
