LOVELAND, Colo.—Loveland has a new catchphrase to help it drive tourism.

The Loveland Reporter-Herald reports ( ) the Community Marketing Commission voted this week to adopt a logo and tagline to go on items to promote the city. The red and purple logo includes a heart and the phrase “Loveland Colorado: Everything You Love.”

Loveland tourism services coordinator Cindy Mackin and economic development director Betsey Hale say the logo won’t supplant Loveland’s identity as the “Sweetheart City.” Instead the “Everything You Love” message is targeted to travelers and businesses viewing Loveland for potential relocation or expansion.

The city started more than two years ago collecting a 3 percent tax on hotel and motel accommodations to promote tourism.
