BRECKENRIDGE, Colo.—Authorities are still trying to determine the identity of a man found dead near a Breckenridge resort.
Deputies responded Saturday to a report of a body found in the woods at the Burro trailhead near Beaver Run Resort.
The Summit County coroner’s office says the man died of blunt force trauma. An autopsy was performed Monday, but the man’s identity is still unknown.
Sheriff’s officials are investigating the death as a homicide, but they haven’t released many details about the case.
The victim appeared to be camping out on U.S. Forest Service property.
