Crews are cleaning up a spill of hazardous material a semi was carrying.

Lake Dillon Fire-Rescue says the truck spilled eight 50-pound bags of hydrated lime, a chemical that is corrosive and can cause burns to skin, eyes and lungs. The spill covered about a quarter-mile of the roadway. Firefighters are treating the driver, who has some level of contamination.
