Visual art: Fine looks and function junction
Through July 28. Sandi Pierantozzi and Neil Patterson make fine bits of ceramic with an emphasis on function. That means you can admire their lovely vessels and vases on display at Plinth Gallery, but you can also put flowers or tea or whatever you want in them and serve it up to company. She works mostly in slab, he works at the wheel, but their objects come together nicely at their studio, located in the shadow of the great Philadelphia Museum of Art. The opening reception is at 6 p.m. today at Plinth, 3520 Brighton Blvd. Pierantozzi gives a workshop Saturday and Sunday. Info at or 303-295-0717.
