Patricia “Pat” A. Miller, 82, the mother of Colorado Rockies owners Dick and Charlie Monfort, passed away Thursday from natural causes at her home in Greeley, the team announced Friday. In addition to Dick and Charlie, she is survived by her husband Vern, daughters Kyle and Kaye, 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Rockies owner, chairman and CEO Dick Monfort said in a statement: “We all loved and cherished our mother and we will greatly miss her. She provided the foundation for the strong values we hold today and taught us all about love and life. Our mother was loved by all that she met, and each of us will forever have fond memories of her. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.”

Services for Pat Miller will be held at the First Congregational Church, 2101 16th St., Greeley on Thursday at 2 p.m. Donations may be made to the Hospice of Northern Colorado, 1801 16th St., Greeley, CO 80631; A Woman’s Place, 1024 9th Ave., Greeley, CO 80631 (970) 351-0476; or “the charity of your choice,” according to the statement.
