COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Animal control officials in Colorado Springs say a Rottweiler that attacked a toddler will be put to death.
The dog attack left a 3-year-old boy with nearly a dozen puncture wounds to his stomach and face. The boy was playing in his front yard when he was mauled on Sunday.
According to KKTV-TV ( ), Conrad Skinner has a swollen eye and stitches on his face.
Authorities say a man at a yard sale saw the attack and threw dishes at the dog before stopping it.
