DENVER—Temperature records around the state are falling.
The National Weather Service says Denver International Airport reached 102 degrees Friday to top the previous record for June 22 of 98 degrees, which was set in 1874.
Pueblo reached 105 degrees Friday. That’s 5 degrees above the previous record for the date, set in 1892.
Colorado Springs hit a record 97 degrees to beat the old high of 95, set June 22, 1978. The high in Alamosa was 92, breaking the old mark of 90, set in 1954.
