Southbound Interstate 25 has re-opened at Plum Creek after a three-vehicle accident closed the roadway for more than four hours.

A semi-trailer truck blocked the roadway just north of Tomah Road, said Trooper Nate Reid, spokesman for the Colorado State Patrol. The accident happened shortly after 4:26 a.m.

A hazardous materials unloaded the fuel from the truck before it was removed from the road. It does not appear that anyone was seriously injured in the crash, Reid said.

Southbound traffic was directed around the crash and onto the Frontage Road, according to CDOT. Northbound traffic was also congested as slowed near the accident.
