When comedians do well they kill, or crush. When they don’t, they die. Fortunately, for Denver comedian , it’s been a crushing, killer week. And it’s only two days long.

As one-third of monthly alt-comedy show and FunnyOrDie.com web series, Cayton-Holland is well known to stand-up fans in the Mile High City. But today he capped off a successful couple weeks for with a mention on feature.

And before you bemoan the fact that click-baiting lists are a dime a dozen online, consider the fact that it’s Esquire. Cayton-Holland, in particular, got the shout-out from Hardwick, who runs the Nerdist podcast empire and who has welcomed Cayton-Holland as a guest on a recent episode.

“Every year in December, we do something called the Stand-Up Cluster on my podcast,” Hardwick told Esquire writer Adam K. Raymond. “We use it to expose our audience to comedians, and I had Adam on , in 2011. He crushed.”

Just yesterday, Cayton-Holland was planning to head to the prestigious comedy festival — easily the World Series of stand-up, and a goal Cayton-Holland was working toward when I shadowed him to L.A. last year .

I’m looking forward to performing and watching ,” another Denver comic representing the Mile High up north.

As a longtime follower of his career, I’m psyched for the guy — provided he doesn’t forget my love of expensive, foreign chocolates and hand-tailored suits once he makes his first million in Hollywood.

Update: Score another one for Cayton-Holland this week. His interview with Denver-based writer Joel Warner .
