A driver who crashed into a guardrail early this morning on C-470 has died of his injuries.
The single-vehicle crash happened at about 3 a.m. on the highway near West Bowles Avenue, said Trooper Josh Lewis, a Colorado State Patrol spokesman.
The driver, who has not been identified, was taken by helicopter to a local hospital where he died of his injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
