DENVER—A woman accused of lying in an investigation into the disappearance of a Denver teen has pleaded guilty to charges including perjury.
Kerry Humphrey also pleaded guilty Monday to attempt to influence a public official and two counts of false reporting to authorities.
Humphrey was accused of intentionally lying to police detectives who were investigating the disappearance of 19-year-old Kenia Monge (mon-hey), whose friends last saw her at a nightclub last year.
Monge’s body was later found about 40 miles from Denver. Travis Forbes is serving a life sentence in her death.
Court records indicate Humphrey had dated Forbes.
Humphrey is scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 13.
