COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A man accused in the death of his ex-wife’s suspected lover and of trying to kill a judge and attorney involved in his divorce case has been convicted of witness tampering.
The Gazette reports () a jury convicted Bruce Nozolino on four counts of witness tampering Wednesday. A judge had dismissed a fifth count Tuesday. Sentencing is set for Sept. 26.
Prosecutors said Nozolino tried to influence people who were called to testify before a grand jury that was investigating accusations against him.
Nozolino is awaiting trial on charges related to a shooting that killed a man and separate shootings that targeted an attorney and judge who worked on his divorce case.
