BOULDER — University of Colorado police are seeking two suspects in an assault that reportedly occurred just before midnight Saturday north of the Norlin Library on the Boulder campus.
At 11:40 p.m. Saturday, the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call about an assault that had just occurred on the CU campus.
The woman, a 19-year-old CU student, later reported that she and a 20-year-old male friend were walking when two men walking behind them began taunting them.
One of the suspects reportedly offered the female victim $20 to sleep with him, at which point she turned and flipped off the two men, she told police. The suspects then rushed the victims. One suspect choked the woman and pushed her to the ground, and the other tackled the male victim and pinned his arms to the ground with his knees. The male victim was repeatedly punched, police said.
