FORT COLLINS, Colo.—The owners of an apartment complex that held a megaparty that got out of control last August have canceled their annual back-to-school festival.

The Aug. 27 party advertised on Facebook as the biggest pool party of the year resulted in multiple arrests. Ten people were hospitalized, mostly for minor injuries and overconsumption of alcohol. The annual pool party drew as many as 3,000 people.

The apartment complex is home to many off-campus Colorado State University students.

A leasing consultant tells the Fort Collins Coloadoan () the pool gates are now locked and alcohol is no longer allowed in the pool area.
