A head-on crash between a motorcycle and car killed a 22-year-old man in Park County on Monday.

Around 9:45 p.m., Kyle Rosenwinge was driving his 1999 Yamaha motorcycle southbound on U.S. Highway 285 when drifted into the northbound lane as he rounded a right-hand curve, said Trooper Nate Reid, a spokesman for the Colorado State Patrol.

Rosenwinge, of Bailey, collided head-on with a 2005 red Subaru Outback traveling northbound.

Rosenwinge died at the scene. The driver and passenger in the Subaru were not injured.

Authorities suspect Rosenwinge may have been drinking before the crash. Toxicology test are being completed.
