Mineral spirits

“Copper Minerals” is the theme of the 45th annual Denver Gem and Mineral Show offering rock specimens, fossils, minerals, jewelry and equipment. More than 120 dealers are included. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $6 adults, $4 teens ages 13-17 and seniors over 65, and children 12 and under are free with paying adult. Admission includes entrance to the Colorado Fossil Expo in the Plaza Annex.
