If you need more in your life — keep in mind, that’s Fun. the oddly punctuated band behind “We Are Young” — then this morning’s news will put a smile on your fun-loving (and Fun.-loving) face.
Fun. will tour this winter, playing some pretty big rooms — including the in Broomfield. The ubiquitous openers might catch your ear, too.
Fun. will headline the 1stBank Center on Dec. 13 with Of Monsters and Men and Churchill opening the show.
If that seems like a match made in modern rock heaven, you must listen to a lot of KTCL. The show is billed as Channel 93.3’s Not So Silent Night, the mostly annual holiday concert promoted by local FM stalwart KTCL-93.3/FM.
It’ll be a big show for the Denver-based Churchill, which recently signed to A&M/Octane Records on the strength of its recent release “Change.” (Churchill plays two shows this weekend at the Bluebird Theater — a sold-out gig on Saturday and another show on Sunday.)
Tickets for the 1stBank Center show, $33.50-$38.50, will go on sale 10 a.m. Saturday at TicketHorse.
