Direct bus service from five Park-n-Ride locations will be offered to participants of this year’s Race for the Cure.

Beginning at 6 a.m. on race day, Oct. 7, buses will pick-up racers from five metro area locations and bring them directly to the Pepsi Center drop-off location at 15th and Wewatta streets, according to a news release from the Regional Transportation District.

Bus service to the race will run through 8:40 a.m. on race day.

Return buses will leave from Lot B at the Pepsi Center. The last bus will leave at noon.

Light rail lines C and E will stop at the Pepsi Center Light Rail Station. Special C, E and H line service will run on race day beginning at 5 a.m.

The race,will cause some temporary detours and delays to regular bus routes from about 4 a.m. to noon on race day. Westbound and eastbound routes 1, 10, 16, 16L, 20, 28, AF will be affected, as well as northbound and southbound route 31.
