ASPEN, Colo.—Officials in Aspen are trying to get rid of crabapples that are attracting some bad apple bears.
City parks director Stephen Ellsperman says it’s a problem that won’t go away and it would require a large amount of manpower.
The Aspen Daily News says ( ) city officials are hoping private property owners will step in to help.
The city has already banned planting new fruit-bearing trees on private property and stopped planting them on public land.
