PARKER —  Sunday afternoon around 2:34 p.m. the Parker police department responded to the Canterbury subdivision for a suspicious occurrence.

Parker police tell 9NEWS that an 8-year-old boy said he was approached near the 2300 block of Broadmoor Drive by a white male in a black 4 door sedan who told him to get in the car.

The boy ran home and told his parents about the incident. They called police.

Police officers talked to neighbors who said they saw the car and described the driver as a white male wearing a light colored striped dress shirt. Neighbors said a female teenager was also in the car.

Parker police were able to obtain a video of the suspect’s vehicle captured by a neighbor’s surveillance camera.

On Oct. 14, police responded to another suspicious incident near the Clarke Farms subdivision. In this incident a male driving a teal Chevy Astro van was seen motioning for a 4-year-old child to come over to the van.

Police have not said whether the two incidents are connected, but the vehicle descriptions are different.

They ask anyone who has information on either incident call the Parker police department at 303-841-9800.
