The Sporting Dog Club of Colorado is hosting its inaugural Barbecue Hunt on Saturday and Sunday. The event is open to current members, members of other sporting-breed clubs and sporting-breed owners. Hunters will be after quail and chukar on 160 acres of prime cover. The club grounds are located 6 miles north of Strasburg. There will be hunts at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. each day, as well as target shoots for children.
