
Average retail gasoline prices in Colorado have fallen 5.5 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.42 a gallon Sunday, .
The nation experienced an average drop of 3.2 cents per gallon in the last week, falling to $3.46 per gallon.
Sunday gas prices in Colorado were 0.5 cents per gallon higher than the same day a year ago and 26.2 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has decreased 32.6 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 3.1 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
“The national average has again decreased in the last week, but the decreases are beginning to slow down,” said GasBuddy.com Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan.
