Whatap to be expected on ‘ upcoming LP “Mosquito” (due out April 16) is anyone’s guess, and the album’s second teaser video makes that guessing game even harder.
The 49 second video, which was posted to Youtube early this morning, features Karen O, Nick Zinner and Brian Chase playing a gauzy snippet reminiscent of the prettier material on 2010’s “Itap Blitz.”
The video’s a fairly stark contrast to “Mosquito’s” first teaser, which was a dirty, grungy nugget of vintage Yeah Yeah Yeahs filth rock. Watch both videos below, then read why “Mosquito’s” album art :
