DENVER—A Denver police officer is facing charges of driving while intoxicated after he was accused of causing a rollover crash on Interstate 25 while he was off duty.
Jessie Espinoza is accused of sideswiping a sport-utility vehicle, which swerved into a concrete barrier and rolled onto its roof on Sunday.
According to the Denver Post ( ), three people inside the SUV were not seriously injured.
Espinoza has been taken off patrol duty while a criminal investigation continues.
