Denver police used dogs and a helicopter to search for two suspects who allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint Wednesday night.
The robbery victim was not hurt, said Raquel Lopez, Denver police spokesman.
He was walking near Iowa Avenue and Hazel Street at 6:30 p.m. when two males accosted him with a gun and demanded money, Lopez said. The suspects took money and bolted in different directions, she said.
Witnesses told police that they believe one of the suspects may have entered a nearby home, Lopez said. The other suspect ran away.
Police briefly set up a perimeter around the home but did not find the suspect.
, Lopez said.
