A police car collided with a snow-plow truck early Tuesday morning injuring a man and woman who were being taken to jail, police said.
The accident happened at about 3:50 a.m. in the 8900 block of Highway 2, according to a Commerce City Police Department media release.
The police patrol car was northbound when the officer driving lost control and it “was struck by a southbound Commerce City snow plow,” police said.
The officer was taking the man and woman to the Adams County Jail when the accident happened. The pair was taken to a local hospital “for evaluation.”
