Q: We now have this Babylon homepage when we start up the computer, which no one in the household has downloaded. I keep resetting it to MSN but somehow this company keeps taking over. While I am trying to type this I keep getting a popup that is really quick but looks as though someone or something is trying to copy files. Help, what should I do?

A: First, you need to uninstall the malicious Babylon software, which may also display questionable banner ads on websites you visit. It was probably installed on your computer via a third-party program. Go to Control Panel and find the “add” or “remove programs” option under the Programs and Features section. Right-click on Babylon (Babylon Toolbar) and choose “uninstall.” Then, open your Web browser’s Internet Options menu, click “advanced” tab and choose “reset.” For more detailed instructions, visit
