has announced a new album and a new single, “Retrograde,” on BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane. should be available on the BBC’s website soon. Listen to the new James Blake song below.
The album, which , will be called “Overgrown” and is out on April 8.
“Retrograde” is a powerful track that puts Blake’s crooning up front, over a downbeat melody and buzzing chorus. Itap somewhat more vibrant than what heard on his eponymous debut in 2011, and could hint to different tone for his new full-length, which will be released via Republic.
Blake is currently scheduled to perform at the Ogden Theater on April 28. Keep to Reverb for updates as they happen.
