Spotlight on Avery Bradley: Bradley’s indoctrination to the NBA was turned up 100 notches when Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo suffered a knee injury in late January and was lost for the season. Bradley was pushed into the starting lineup and has helped usher in a new kind of Boston basketball that is predicated on constant ball and player movement in lieu of a point guard directing traffic. Bradley, known for his defensive prowess, has played well so far. He’s averaged 10.5 points, four rebounds and 2.5 assists in his last two games.
