Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will headline one of the nights of the Burton U.S. Open Snowboarding Championships on March 1. The duo will play the free show at Solaris Plaza from 6-9:30 p.m. on the 1st, setting the stage for a big Santigold performance on March 2nd, also at Solaris Plaza. Both shows are free.
Organizers are encouraging fans to get to the mountain early to check out the various halfpipe and slopestyle events at the U.S. Open, including Olympic-level finals with competitors including Shaun White and Kelly Clark.
The U.S. Open’s closing party will take over Dobson Arena on March 2 after the Santigold show. The closing party is also free – though you’ll need tickets for that one, which are available via any Vail-area Burton store – and itap headlined by Skratch Bastid and Cosmo Baker from 10:30 p.m.-1:30 a.m. March 2.
