Blake Street has been shut down in downtown Denver for a gas pipe repair.
A crew doing routine inspections Wednesday morning found a natural gas leak in a 6-inch line, said Mark Stutz, an Xcel Energy spokesman.
All customers and businesses in the area still have service.
Traffic will likely be shut down until about 8 p.m. on Blake between 15th and 17th streets so the leak can be promptly fixed. The closure may last longer if complications arise.
Drivers should expect delays in the area.
