The Travel Channel has built an engrossing series, “Armed & Ready,” around Kevin Michael Connolly, an unstoppable athlete and adventurer who was born without legs.
He travels the globe with neither wheelchair nor prosthetics, but with the help of backyard engineers and scientists (and big biceps). Connolly creates new rigs to travel anywhere, from skate boarding on lava fields to scaling trees and cliff diving. He’s “Armed & Ready,” premiering Tuesday at 8 p.m.
