Gloomy Ohio rockers have shared the details for their upcoming sixth album “Trouble Will Find Me.” The album is due out on May 21, and before its release, a documentary about the National will open the Tribeca Film Festival on April 17.

Front man Matt Berninger described the album in a press release:

For the past 10 years we’d been chasing something, wanting to prove something. And this chase was about trying to disprove our own insecurities. After touring High Violet, I think we felt like we’d finally gotten there. Now we could relax—not in terms of our own expectations but we didn’t have to prove our identity any longer.

As part of a world tour supporting the new album, the National will play Red Rocks on Sept. 17.
