A 65-year-old Golden man has been charged with first-degree murder.
appeared in Jefferson County District Court Thursday morning in connection with the death of his wife, Barbara Reathman, 70, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
If convicted, Reathman, who is being held without bond, could be sentenced to life in prison without parole.
His next court hearing is scheduled for April 18.
